If you are enrolled in any of the following programs, you are eligible for FLOWER: SNAP/EBT, TANF Cash Assistance, WIC, SSI/SSDI, Medicaid, Free School Lunch.

OB People’s vision is dedicated to helping people live in ways that are ecologically sustainable and that promote personal health and well-being. If you are experiencing acute financial hardship but are not receiving assistance from the programs listed above, you may still qualify for FLOWER benefits. People’s is all about building vibrant, local, organic food systems – values I share as well - and I’m so grateful to be part of a community that’s helping make an impact on the health of the planet and people – one veggie at a time! I have an auto-immune condition and eating clean, nourishing foods is a super important part of how I support myself. I know I can always count on the Co-op to have the best and freshest produce and food in town!

I like that the produce is organic, I also love the choices in the Bulk bins - why pay for more packaging to get things like oats and nuts? But mainly it's the people! Over the years there have been many different people who have worked as cashiers that I've had great fun talking to. And I don't just have one favorite, because it happens again and again and again!

Just being a part of a rad, local co-op is why I joined. I knew I wanted to be a part of this spot just from connecting to the staff and because organic plus veggie is my vibe. I also love those times in line when they let you know it’s owners appreciation days, and I gotta gear up for a big grocery trip that week to make the most of the discount! I feel like I’m friends with everyone who works at People's. Sometimes it brightens my day when I stop in. Also, the vision and products are just in alignment with what I’m seeking in a grocery store. If you’re thinking about joining, Come on, you’re People’s people, like us, just do it. No but seriously though…. Joining as a member might have you coming in more often, which will have you eating more healthy and connecting to likeminded humans… and potentially change your day-to-day ‘tude. I really do think it can have that much of an impact!
