Urgent Update as of Friday, June 19th

Unfortunately, we hit a major setback in our refrigerator installation project. We recently updated the entire system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, lower our energy consumption, and increase overall efficiency. This project has been a massive undertaking, and unfortunately has not gone exactly as planned.

While the mechanics of the new refrigerators are working seamlessly, the computer that manages the temperature control and keeps products within food-safe zones was faulty upon installation. While we ordered a replacement part immediately, there has been an unexpected shipping delay that has further prolonged the project. We are unsure at this time when things will be back to normal. We are working on temporary refrigeration solutions, stand by for further updates.

Our entire team is working hard to ensure People’s remains open and keep as much of the store up and running as possible. Each department is making do with what they can. Wellness, Grocery and Bulk are fully functioning, while Produce, Perishables and Deli have limited offerings. Find limited salad bar, soups, baked goods, juices and some grab & go options in our Vegan Deli upstairs!
